WSP, a leading global engineering and professional services firm in the Middle East, is seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join our team in Dubai / Sharjah. As a Financial Analyst at WSP Middle East, you will work closely with the Financial Consolidation Manager and the finance team to review business performance, consolidate budgets and forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and support critical decision-making processes.
In this role, you will provide analytical and consolidation support for WSP Middle East by preparing monthly management reports, analyzing performance at various levels (business unit, country, entity), identifying key performance drivers, assessing risks and opportunities, analyzing major projects and KPI metrics, as well as supporting budgeting and forecasting exercises. You will also be responsible for implementing tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights, as well as assisting in balance sheet reviews for internal control purposes.
Ideal candidates for this position should possess a CFA/CPA/CA qualification with 3-4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis within the professional services or engineering industry. Strong communication skills, solid financial analysis knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting consolidation tools like Hyperion are essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
