We are currently seeking an experienced CAM Programmer / Production Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Production Engineer at CloudNC, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality CAM programs and ensuring efficient production processes for complex components. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative processes and technologies, optimizing machine utilization, and delivering accurate programs within tight deadlines. Collaborating closely with the Lead PE and Engineering Manager, you will contribute to meeting production targets, reducing lead times, controlling costs, and maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement CNC programs using CAM software to produce parts according to specifications while minimizing external spending.
- Prioritize workloads to ensure efficient machine operation and timely delivery of components.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Production team to address manufacturing issues, propose cost-saving improvements, and streamline operations.
- Test programs thoroughly before production, resolve any post-processor issues efficiently, and plan manufacturing methods for optimized operations.
- Maintain detailed records of deviations from specifications and provide proactive solutions to prevent errors during production runs.
