The Public Relations Manager will play a crucial role in planning, managing, and executing strategic media engagements globally, with a primary focus on Europe - especially the UK, France, and the DACH region. This position involves collaborating with internal APAC team members to ensure alignment across regions. The successful candidate will oversee external PR agencies in London, Paris, and Munich to enhance the company's visibility in the marketplace through compelling press materials and timely delivery of press releases. Working closely with internal teams and external agencies, this individual will drive editorial story planning and pitching to local, national, and international press outlets.
Key responsibilities include managing EMEA PR agencies and supporting European PR efforts in other regions as needed. The Public Relations Manager will also support APAC Field Marketing teams with localized PR plans while overseeing resources to secure placements in relevant media outlets. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders such as spokespeople, executives, marketing teams, application engineers/customer support staff, and sales teams is essential for promoting an integrated communications approach across Europe. Additionally, this role requires monitoring industry trends and adjusting positioning strategies accordingly.
Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related fields along with at least 5 years of experience in media or PR roles. Prior experience working with PR agencies is required while experience managing agency teams is preferred. Strong writing skills with attention to detail are crucial for crafting compelling content. Fluency in English is a must along with exceptional organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in technical settings or B2B software companies is advantageous.
