We are currently seeking a dynamic Communications Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading and supporting our communications, marketing, and digital engagement efforts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a minimum of 3 years' experience in communications, marketing, or social media management. Proficiency in English and Arabic languages is required, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while managing social media accounts and engagement effectively.
As the Communications Manager at Carboun Institute, you will play a crucial role in developing comprehensive communications strategies that advance our policy influence goals. You will lead the development of measurable campaign objectives aligned with research outputs and advocacy priorities while creating data-driven communications strategies to optimize reach and influence with key policy audiences across the MENA region. Additionally, you will be tasked with drafting high-quality written content such as policy briefs, blogs, newsletters, and press releases while translating complex climate research into compelling narratives for different audiences.
