We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join us as an R&D Manager (CTO Designate) in the West-Midlands UK office.
The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in Cast Polyurethane Elastomers and be degree educated in a technical materials function. As the R&D Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing company products, providing technical support to sales and customers, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. You will lead a cross-functional team of 7 or more individuals in R&D, Quality, and Project Management. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking and evaluating product development initiatives while maintaining compliance with company accreditations and certification requirements.
Key responsibilities of the R&D Manager include providing direction and support to the technical and quality teams for resource development, reporting on progress to key stakeholders at different stages of the development lifecycle, offering technical support to the sales team during customer visits, resolving technical challenges for customers by aligning appropriate resources to projects when needed, ensuring quality standards are met across all operations, managing budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
