We are currently seeking a Regional Technical Manager (North) to join our Engineering Department in the Northern Region (Northeast/West of England & Scotland). Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, you will work closely with the Regional Technical Manager (South) to lead the Applications Engineers and Technical Sales teams. Your primary responsibility will be developing and guiding these teams to deliver engineering solutions, address technical inquiries, conduct cutting tool trials, and achieve metalworking growth targets.
As the Regional Technical Manager at MSC Industrial Supply, you will oversee a team of Applications Engineers responsible for fulfilling contractual commitments to key and national customers. Additionally, you will build and lead your regional Technical Sales Team to provide exceptional technical support while fostering a high-performance culture through setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and promoting continuous improvement. Your role will also involve supporting our largest customers by managing activity pipelines, ensuring contractual commitments are met, and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
The ideal candidate for this position should have proven experience in a technical management role within the industrial supply or metalworking sector.
