The successful candidate must possess practical digital skills and an efficient approach to routine administrative tasks to support the smooth running and future development of our membership, bursary programs, and events. Whether you have experience in the conservation sector or are new to it but eager to learn more, we are looking for individuals who are well-organized, committed to their roles, good communicators proficient with digital tools such as databases, Word Press, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.

As the Programme & Communications Officer at York Consortium for Craft & Conservation, your responsibilities will include maintaining the membership database; handling membership renewals and recruitment; managing the annual bursary program; updating the website with relevant information; communicating regularly via social media channels and newsletters; organizing events such as annual meetings and bursary awards; attending trustee meetings both online and in person when required; and handling any other administrative or communication tasks that arise. You will report directly to our Chairperson Kibby Schaefer and collaborate with other Trustees including Treasurer, Secretary Bursary Officer etc.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for preliminary online discussions on April 7th 2025 followed by final interviews in person on April 15th 2025 in York.
