Los Angeles born and bred women's apparel company is creating a strong infrastructure within their accounting and finance team. They are looking to bring in a Controller who can support the VP of Finance and the CFO on a daily basis. This is a key leadership position and will be responsible for leading the accounting department.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all aspects of accounting services including financial reporting, processing internal controls, and systems.
Implement audit findings with a view of improving the business’s overall financial performance.
Reports and delivers revenue quarterly/annual processes to the executive team and board members.
Work with the company’s CPA for the completion of annual tax preparation.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors's degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field is required. CPA or MBA desirable, but not required
Min 7 years of working experience in a leading accounting position within a fast-paced and dynamic position, preferably as Head of Accounting or Controller.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). In-depth
Must demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, having an ability to influence and lead a cross-functional team as well as senior business leadership.
