Job Description
Responsibilities: - Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. - Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. - Conduct regular account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. - Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement financial controls and processes. - Monitor cash flow and manage working capital to optimize financial performance. - Provide guidance and support to the finance team, ensuring their professional development. - Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred. - Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. - Proficiency in financial management software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks. - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
Certified Public Accountant preferred
Proficiency in accounting software, Sage Intacct and R365, Toast, Shopify preferred
Experience in restaurant hospitality a plus
