We are currently seeking an Associate Director of Development for our Annual Fund team. As the Associate Director of Development, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to manage and cultivate a portfolio of individual donors who contribute unrestricted gifts ranging from $1,000 to $25,000 annually. Reporting to the Senior Associate Director within the Annual Fund Development team, you will engage in up to 50% travel to meet with donors through cultivation, stewardship activities, and revenue targets. Travel may include day trips as well as international locations requiring Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT).

Key responsibilities include identifying and soliciting individuals for donations in support of our organization's goals, coordinating giving initiatives with the Constituent Giving office, managing donor portfolios through active solicitation efforts, and providing exceptional donor-focused service. You will also play a crucial role in crafting promotional materials, planning fundraising events, researching donor histories for effective solicitation strategies, maintaining donor information in CRM systems, and generating reports on revenue metrics for strategic planning purposes.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree with at least three years of experience in fundraising or related fields. Strong interpersonal skills for relationship-building are essential along with effective written and oral communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and familiarity with Raiser's Edge constituent management system are advantageous.
