As the Director of Engineering at ACO USA, your responsibilities will include developing and leading product development strategies, innovation processes, and quality assurance procedures. Additionally, you will manage department/project budgets to support revenue goals effectively. Leading the Product Development & Design, Materials Analysis, Quality Management, and Process Engineering teams requires strategic leadership to ensure successful product launches.
Key duties involve taking projects from concept to engineering drawings using software systems and managing technical support for commercial/marketing teams. You will manage new product development pipelines in collaboration with strategic marketing departments while ensuring success in launching profitable products quickly. Your role also includes implementing quality assurance strategies to maintain compliance with industry standards throughout the manufacturing process.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields with at least five years of experience leading product development teams in manufacturing environments. Strong leadership skills are required along with expertise in Advanced Product Design Planning and Production Process Development. Proficiency in SolidWorks, Inventor, Civil3D software programs is essential for this role.
