All Voting is Local is a multistate, nonpartisan organization dedicated to fighting against state and local voting policies that disenfranchise voters of color and historically marginalized communities. We are currently seeking a Senior Data Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and supporting our data analytics program. Key responsibilities include gathering stakeholder needs, managing the data roadmap, developing project scopes for consultants, establishing data governance best practices, acquiring data from various sources, creating tables within databases, authoring dashboards and reports for internal use, presenting findings to stakeholders groups, facilitating discussions on data projects design and implementation. The successful candidate must have demonstrated fluency in SQL queries (TSQL, MYSQL), knowledge of R or Python for statistical analyses, experience with project management software and elections-related data.
The Senior Data Manager role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; an MBA or M.S. in information technology is preferred. Candidates should possess 7-10 years of experience creating actionable research tools within a professional environment. Desired qualifications include strong reasoning skills for problem-solving and effective communication abilities to convey complex data to diverse audiences.
