As an Engineering Manager at Aurex Group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various aspects of engineering operations. Your responsibilities will include designing and driving improvement journeys on asset integrity and reliability, involvement in expansion projects to ensure adequate design standards are met, promoting continuous improvement in various areas such as safety and energy efficiency, as well as effectively communicating progress with site leadership. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the engineering operating budget, identifying capital needs for projects, overseeing goal setting and performance management, leading root cause failure analysis when required, hiring and supervising engineering staff, among other duties.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field with at least 10 years of experience in engineering management. You should possess strong knowledge of static equipment engineering and asset integrity assurance, familiarity with PSM elements and mechanical integrity program requirements, as well as experience managing multiple teams and disciplines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required, while knowledge of PCMS is a plus.
