We are currently seeking a Plant Director to lead manufacturing operations for key product lines at our Indianapolis facilities. Reporting to the Director of North American Manufacturing as part of the Global Operations and Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for overseeing instruments, accessories, service parts, and consumables production. In this role, you will manage a team of 200+ associates across various departments such as Environmental Health and Safety, Quality Control, Scheduling, Engineering, Warehousing, and more.
As the Plant Director, your primary focus will be on ensuring customer requirements are met efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. You will develop business plans, allocate budgets/resources effectively, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Your leadership will play a crucial role in achieving on-time delivery targets exceeding 95% by managing value streams effectively from scheduling to shipping. Additionally, you will lead by example in implementing Danaher Business System processes to ensure sustainable results.
The ideal candidate for this position holds a Bachelor's degree with over 20 years of experience or a Master's degree with at least 18 years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles.
