Manufacturing Engineering Manager

As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Brightpath Associates LLC, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, introduction, implementation, and enhancement of products and processes within our manufacturing system. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that desired objectives are met at the lowest cost possible while recommending developments that can improve the company's profitability and competitive position. You will lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers by providing guidance, direction, and evaluating their performance to maintain effective manufacturing processes.

In this role, you will collaborate with various departments such as Production, Quality Control, Purchasing, and Scheduling to ensure a seamless flow of quality products through our factory. You will be responsible for creating bills of material, manufacturing routings, machine burdens, new work centers, work instructions for new products, tools and machines design used in production processes. Additionally, you will oversee the development of new methods and production controls while staying updated on emerging manufacturing technology trends.

The ideal candidate for this position should have 5-7 years of experience in fabrication and assembly within construction or agricultural equipment industries. You must possess strong leadership skills with knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing is required for this role. • 5-7 years of experience in fabrication, welding and assembly
• 5-7 years of progressive management level experience in Manufacturing Engineering
• Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing
• Experience managing projects from proposal through implementation
• Proficient with computer-aided drafting (CAD) software

• Plan and coordinate introduction of new products and processes
• Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods
• Review production program equipment and tooling
• Confer with vendors to determine part specifications

• Excellent time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Proficient in mechanical assembly with preferred experience in assembly lines
