As the Director of Structural Engineering, you will be responsible for leading our structural team towards success. Your key duties will include setting revenue and business development goals related to structural engineering, leading strategic planning initiatives such as service expansion and client targeting, representing the firm at industry events, ensuring high-quality project deliverables and customer service, developing and inspiring the structural team through hiring and training processes, maintaining quality assurance standards, overseeing budgets and project management activities, preparing proposals and estimates among other responsibilities.

To excel in this role, you must possess a minimum of 15 years of structural bridge engineering experience with progressive leadership roles. A Structural Engineering (SE) license is required (Illinois license preferred), along with experience working with IDOT and/or ISTHA being advantageous. Additionally, strong communication skills both written and verbal are essential for effective interaction within the team and with clients. The ideal candidate should also have strong analytical skills to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Minimum 15 years of structural bridge engineering experience with progressive leadership roles
