We are currently looking for a Director of Mechanical Engineering to lead our expanding mechanical engineering team. The ideal candidate will oversee all mechanical aspects of our products, including thermal and liquid-cooling systems, mechanical enclosures, complex assemblies, and advanced packaging technologies. As a Director, you will manage the engineering team and drive cross-functional projects that span various disciplines. We are seeking a deeply technical leader with expertise in advanced cooling solutions, DfX in complex mechanical designs, and multi-physics simulations. This role requires a forward-thinking professional who can steer innovative projects and contribute significantly to our product development strategy.
Responsibilities include leading and managing the mechanical engineering team to develop thermal and liquid-cooling solutions, mechanical enclosures, complex assemblies; owning cross-functional projects; implementing advanced cooling solutions like liquid cooling; ensuring designs meet DfX criteria; contributing to electro-mechanical packaging technologies; overseeing multi-physics simulations for pathfinding; mentoring the team for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate should hold an advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines with approximately 10 years of experience in delivering complex mechanical systems.
