Clear, a prominent energy infrastructure company in the United States, is currently seeking a Vice President of Engineering specializing in Transmission & Interconnection. Our mission at Clear is to develop and build high-voltage transmission networks for critical renewable energy and data center projects across the country. As the VP of Transmission & Interconnection, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the transmission planning and interconnection process for data center and renewable energy projects. You will be tasked with identifying new areas and opportunities for project development, engaging with regulatory agencies, utilities, and ISO/RTOs throughout project lifecycles. Additionally, you will manage and develop a team of technical and delivery staff to drive business growth. Collaboration with clients, customers, and internal teams is essential to ensure successful project delivery. This role offers a fully remote working environment with occasional site or client visits.
The ideal candidate for this position should have experience working with utilities, ISOs, or RTOs within the transmission planning or grid infrastructure space. Previous experience in a Developer or contractor role within the energy or data center sector would be advantageous. A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
