Under the guidance of senior leadership, the Controller will play a pivotal role in managing and guiding our finance and accounting departments. The role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, including financial reporting, budget creation, forecasting, and in-depth financial analysis. The individual will take ownership of the financial direction of the company, ensuring accuracy and driving necessary corrections.




Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership: Direct and manage finance department activities, overseeing general ledger, receivables, payables, and financial reporting processes.
Cost Management: Set and regularly review Standard Costs, including Material, Labor, Overhead, and Inventory costs.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow the finance department team.
Policy Formulation: Formulate and implement financial policies, processes, and controls.
Financial Analysis: Examine financial outcomes and track essential performance metrics.
Leadership Reporting: Present financial results to senior leadership.
Strategic Insight: Propel change by leveraging financial analysis and metric insights.
Modeling: Design financial models to aid strategic plans.
Collaboration: Collaborate with department heads to enhance strategic planning and promote informed decision-making.
Reporting Oversight: Supervise monthly financial report generation and board presentations.
Budget Management: Oversee annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Accuracy: Ensure precise financial reporting aligned with company objectives.
Audit Management: Lead the annual financial statement review and audit.
Adaptability: Undertake any additional responsibilities as required.






Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with ERP systems and other relevant software.
Comprehensive understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost management principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Familiarity with Manufacturing Accounting Principles.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. An MBA or CPA is a significant advantage.
Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
Over 10 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Creative thinker who is highly motivated and driven.
