Cpl Life Sciences is seeking an Environment Monitoring and Analytics Lead to join the CEA Strategy & Insights team. This team focuses on amplifying CEA's impact by providing strategic, data-driven insights. The successful candidate will actively monitor and interpret the external environment for media, social, and wider political/economic trends that may impact the company. This role is crucial in shaping the future of the team as they build a future-proof CEA organization.
Responsibilities of this role include reviewing, consolidating, and driving effectiveness of existing news, social media, and reputation tracking. The Environment Monitoring and Analytics Lead will collaborate with social media colleagues to monitor social channels using social listening tools, analyze media mentions using platforms like Meltwater or Talkwater, and work with Reputation colleagues to analyze data from sources like Reptrak. Additionally, they will provide critical insights on key topics to the CEA Leadership Team by monitoring investor commentary, geopolitical risks, policy changes, and more.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in consulting, corporate affairs, academia or a relevant field. Experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech or vaccines is preferred. Strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting complex data and providing actionable insights. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively collaborate across functions within a highly matrixed organization.
