We are currently seeking a Vice President of Engineering to join our executive team and lead our passionate, high-performance engineering team through the next phase of growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Engineering will be responsible for overseeing engine and generator development programs, providing technical direction, management, and leadership to a team of designers, analysts, engineers, technicians, machinists, and contractors. The ideal candidate will have experience in rotary/diesel engine development, heavy fuel engine calibration expertise, as well as knowledge of power generation and storage electronics.
In addition to technical expertise, the VP of Engineering must possess strong personal qualities that align with our company culture. We are looking for a quick learner who can prioritize objectives effectively, make decisive decisions, communicate ideas clearly, anticipate opportunities and roadblocks proactively, and thrive on transforming industries. The successful candidate will also have excellent presentation skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels. A BS in Mechanical Engineering is required for this role, with an MSME or Ph.D. preferred.
