We are currently looking for a Chief Engineer to join our team and lead the technical design, development, and testing of next-generation VTOL UAS. This role is crucial in overseeing the entire UAS development lifecycle - from initial design and prototyping to integration, testing, and final deployment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mission systems integration, AI-driven autonomy, hardware/software integration for autonomous aerial vehicles, as well as experience managing complex aerospace projects.
As the Chief Engineer at FLYTE®, your responsibilities will include spearheading all phases of UAS design and development, driving the integration of mission-critical payloads and ground control stations, leading the implementation of autonomous flight capabilities using AI technologies, collaborating with external partners to ensure subsystems meet stringent requirements, managing a high-performance technical team through complex design phases, and communicating progress effectively to stakeholders through technical briefings.
