As the Head of Engineering at Germer International - Pharmaceutical Recruiting, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing all Engineering-related activities on-site. This includes overseeing process, automation, capital projects, utilities, equipment maintenance, facility maintenance, and production maintenance. You will be responsible for managing internal company resources such as assets, financials, and personnel effectively. Additionally, you will collaborate with external professional engineering firms to ensure the successful execution of various projects.
Your main responsibilities will include managing all support activities necessary for engineering projects' successful completion while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will oversee capital projects involving planning, design, construction, and qualification of facilities and equipment. As the principal liaison with professional engineering firms engaged in project design or construction elements, you will ensure technical issues are resolved promptly while adhering to project objectives.
To excel in this role, you should have extensive experience in biologics production space with a strong focus on large-scale mammalian processing. A comprehensive technical knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment and plant design is essential. You must also possess expertise in planning and executing complex capital projects within a GMP environment. Additionally, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (MS preferred) along with 9-12 years of senior-level engineering management experience for the Director position or 13+ years for the Senior Director position.
