We are currently seeking a Head of Engineering to join our team. As the Head of Engineering, you will play a crucial role in providing life cycle asset and facilities management leadership for the site. Your responsibilities will include implementing strategies to ensure sustainable performance for compliance and effectiveness. You will oversee all activities related to Site Engineering, Capital and Facilities Reliability Operations, Maintenance, and more.
The ideal candidate for this position should hold a BS in an Engineering discipline or related area of study, along with a minimum of 10 years of applicable project or design experience within the engineering function. Additionally, you should have at least 4 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical/biotech projects, with a thorough working knowledge of cGMPs, regulatory requirements, engineering principles, automation, and validation. Experience in leading an engineering team for both existing and new production facilities design is highly desirable.
As the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for developing and delivering Facility Reliability budgets for the site, managing project scoping, capital and expense budgeting, day-to-day management of site capital projects as defined in the capital project management program. You will also ensure that site employees are fully trained and adhere to regulations and company policies. Furthermore, you will align/comply with technical standards and guidelines applicable in pharmaceutical and biotech facilities while maintaining proper safety measures throughout all projects.
