As the Head of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all activities related to Site Engineering, Capital and Facilities Reliability Operations, and Maintenance. You will be responsible for managing plant infrastructure, facilities reliability, automation, utilities programs, as well as civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering aspects.
In this role, you will be tasked with developing and delivering Facility Reliability budgets for the site, project scoping, capital and expense budgeting, and day-to-day management of site capital projects as defined in the capital project management program. You will work with minimal supervision to set scope, budget, schedule; initiate CEA funding; conduct Key Project Reviews; manage projects from initiation to successful operation; review Maintenance Dashboard trends; lead site coordination efforts with Maintenance Excellence CoP Leaders; maintain standard site structure; ensure adherence to regulations and company policies; among other responsibilities. Your ability to achieve project objectives within safety guidelines while adhering to financial controls will be crucial for success in this role.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or related area of study along with a minimum of 10 years of applicable project or design experience within an engineering function. A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical/biotech projects is required. Additionally, you must have a thorough understanding of cGMPs, regulatory requirements, engineering principles as well as leadership experience in managing both existing and new production facilities design. Strong knowledge of financial systems for budget planning and monitoring progress is essential for this position.
