As part of our growing Payments Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in building next-generation infrastructure capable of processing billions of dollars in transactions. We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Engineering Leader to guide this transformation. In this position, you will oversee the strategy, design, and implementation of GoFundMe's global payments infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include driving innovation, ensuring seamless payment experiences, and empowering your team to deliver scalable solutions that align with our mission.
The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of experience as an Engineering Leader managing mid-sized organizations and delivering successful outcomes. Additionally, you should possess expertise in key payment areas such as checkout/payment methods, payouts, ledgering, reconciliation, interchange, or KYC/onboarding. Strong technical skills in system architecture are essential for designing and implementing scalable solutions within high-transaction environments. You should also excel in team growth and project leadership while aligning technical priorities with business objectives.
