We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant at HLB HAMT, you will be responsible for overseeing various financial activities, including managing daily accounting operations such as accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll processing. Your role will also involve preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
In addition to these responsibilities, you will conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that will contribute to the organization's growth. Collaboration with senior management to provide insights based on financial data will be crucial in this role. The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP, advanced analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail in financial reporting, strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and effective time management abilities.
If you have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance along with professional certifications (CA or CMA) and at least 3 years of UAE experience in accounting or finance roles, we encourage you to apply for this position. Industry experience in consulting is preferred as well as proven success in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting using Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
