We are currently seeking a Director of Operations who will be responsible for driving manufacturing excellence across 2 or more plants to support short-term and long-range objectives and strategies. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to plant managers and their teams to deliver business results effectively. One critical function of this role is developing a manufacturing strategy to enhance segment performance while improving EBITDA by connecting with the P&L. The successful candidate will oversee the successful operation of multiple plants within the segment.
The Director of Operations will play a crucial role as a participative consultant providing expertise in implementation and solutions while contributing strategically and tactically. They will lead planned events to create efficiencies supporting strategies, ensure alignment with enterprise strategy through Hoshin Planning, own the P&L with an entrepreneurial mindset, understand the larger system within the organization matrix, communicate effectively at all levels, empower individuals to execute strategies, influence stakeholders positively, advocate for talent development within the segment and enterprise as well as maintain high ethics in the workplace.
