The ideal candidate for this role will be detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic. They will provide clear leadership and accountability to various departments including infrastructure engineering, process engineering, industrial & automation engineering, test engineering, and facilities department. Responsibilities include driving operational excellence projects to reduce cycle times and improve process reliability, productivity, quality, and cost. The Director of Manufacturing Engineering will also provide input to strategic decisions affecting manufacturing operations while resolving escalated issues arising from operations through cross-functional coordination with other departments.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a manufacturing engineering management role with expertise in product manufacturing comprehension including rationales and limitations. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel/Word/PP) + Visio is required along with demonstrated knowledge of Lean & Six Sigma principles for continuous improvement. The successful candidate should be effective in project management techniques like time management and delegation while managing multiple departments or shifts comfortably within a fast-moving business environment.
