We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Mechanical Engineering to lead our engineering team and shape the future of design for our mission critical data center facilities.

As the Director of Mechanical Engineering at Imperium Global, you will have the opportunity to lead and expand our mechanical engineering team, driving innovation and design in data center mechanical systems. Reporting directly to the SVP of Engineering, you will establish clear communication between employees and employers while collaborating cross-functionally with electrical engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.

In this role, you will stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to position our data centers at the cutting edge of performance and reliability. You will oversee the design, commissioning, and operational optimization of hyperscale data centers while establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with vendors, contractors, and key stakeholders to drive project success.

Ideal candidates for this position should hold a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with at least 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering. Strong leadership skills in building and managing high-performing engineering teams are essential, along with knowledge of industry standards (ASHRAE, LEED) and regulatory requirements. Strategic thinking abilities to execute complex projects on time and within budget are highly valued.
