As the Director of Engineering, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Engineering division. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the growth and scalability of our division to cater to our expanding client base in permanent installations and themed entertainment. You will mentor junior engineers, work closely with the Vice President of Operations to strategize departmental goals, manage budgets effectively, engage in resource planning for hiring and equipment procurement, and ensure project deadlines are met through efficient processes.
Responsibilities include managing various engineering teams such as Mechanical, Electrical, Integration/Show Controls engineers under your guidance. Collaborating with the Director of Research & Development to set strategic directions for the division is key. You will provide technical information to non-technical stakeholders including executive leadership and clients while organizing departmental procedures. Additionally, you will lead quality control programs implementation to enhance project outcomes while acting as a consulting engineer on projects by reviewing work and mentoring junior staff.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering along with a minimum of 10 years' experience working in engineering for manufacturing industries.
