We are seeking a dynamic Director of Engineering to join our team and lead the transformation of our engineering organization. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of cutting-edge solutions in industrial tank level gauging, control systems, and bulk storage applications. You will lead a high-performing engineering team, establish scalable processes, and drive continuous improvement in embedded systems design, analog/digital components, and sensor technologies to ensure operational excellence.
As the Director of Engineering at L&J Technologies, your key responsibilities will include fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the engineering team. You will standardize engineering documentation and quality assurance practices to support scalability and efficiency in production. Working cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality assurance, and operations teams is essential to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions into the production environment. Additionally, you will manage resources effectively to align project timelines with organizational goals while emphasizing excellence in engineering practices.
The ideal candidate for this position holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or related field) with a Master’s degree preferred. You should have over 10 years of engineering experience including 5+ years in leadership roles focusing on process improvement and team development. Strong expertise in embedded design, instrumentation, industrial manufacturing processes along with exceptional project management abilities are crucial for success in this role.
