We are currently seeking a Content Editor 3 to join our remote team, operating in the PST time zone. This position offers high-impact projects at competitive rates, providing an opportunity to work on documents spanning all Azure Products and collaborate with an engaged community of authors.

As a Content Editor, your main responsibility will be to write technical materials such as equipment manuals, appendices, or operating instructions. You will organize, edit, and maintain technical records while ensuring adherence to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology. Working closely with clients to establish technical specifications and determine subject material for publication will also be part of your role.

In this position, you will have the chance to support authors by troubleshooting products for their articles and solution product tools. Understanding the brand being showcased and adhering to style guidelines for technical communication with customers is essential. Your tasks will include independent work (75%), office hour meetings (10%), and collaborating with editors, authors, and teammates (20%). The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in technical writing and copywriting with expertise in Azure DevOPS and Microsoft Teams.
