As the Director of Technical Sales & Engineering Services at Merritt Precision, you will act as a senior-level technical advisor to customers throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their design and engineering challenges while delivering customized solutions that enhance performance, manufacturability, and efficiency. Additionally, you will lead the quoting process for complex composite tooling and part projects while nurturing customer relationships to drive long-term partnerships.
The successful candidate for this role should have a minimum of 5 years of technical sales or project management experience in composites, marine, or aerospace industries. Strong expertise in fiberglass lamination and composite materials is essential along with proficiency in advanced CAD software such as SolidWorks and NX. Excellent communication skills coupled with strong analytical capabilities are crucial for this position. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field is preferred.
