Director of Engineering

As the Director of Engineering at Miso Robotics, you will be instrumental in steering the company through its next phase of evolution and innovation. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will oversee a diverse team of over 30 engineers specializing in software, hardware (mechanical and electrical), design and test, manufacturing, as well as Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) systems. Your primary responsibilities will include leading and mentoring the engineering team to foster a culture of innovation and excellence while ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

Key aspects of this role involve integrating offshore engineering resources seamlessly to enhance in-house capabilities and drive collaboration across global teams. You will be responsible for driving the development of cutting-edge hardware products that leverage AI, computer vision, perception, and machine learning technologies. Additionally, you will work closely with senior leadership to align engineering efforts with business goals and contribute to long-term strategic planning for Miso's technology roadmap.

To excel in this role, you must have a proven track record of managing large engineering teams across different disciplines, integrating global/offshore resources effectively, and deep expertise in robotics or similar hardware products incorporating advanced technologies.
