Our client, a leading provider of financial tax software, is seeking a Public Relations Manager to join their Corporate PR team. This fully remote position aligns with PST time zones and offers a 4-month W2 contract role with benefits and paid holidays. As the Public Relations Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing integrated communication plans, supporting cross-company PR alignment, managing corporate speaking and awards programs, conducting media relations research and outreach, creating executive briefing documents, and overseeing reporting activities on a quarterly, weekly, and ad-hoc basis.
Responsibilities for this role include drafting various communications materials such as briefing documents, speaking abstracts, media pitches, integrated communication plans, and reports. You will be responsible for driving the corporate speaking program by managing employee requests, internal approval processes, vendor endorsement requests approval, feedback collection, and process refinement. Additionally, you will maintain a list of relevant awards, surveys, and rankings based on agreed-upon principles while leading the end-to-end awards submission process with input from different teams. Supporting the PR team with media outreach efforts including scheduling interviews and responding to inquiries is also part of your responsibilities.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field along with at least 5 years of experience in Public Relations across both in-house and third-party agencies. Proficiency in tools such as Mailchimp, LexisNexis, and SurveyMonkey is required. Previous experience in the SaaS, Cloud or FinTech industry would be advantageous.
