Our client is currently seeking a skilled and dynamic Head of Data Analytics to join their team and lead in converting complex data sets into actionable insights. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced analytics leader who can shape data strategy and promote data-driven decision-making within the organization.
As the Head of Data Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing data infrastructure, analytics solutions, and reporting systems for our client. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of data engineers, analysts, and project managers while spearheading initiatives that transform raw data into valuable insights driving business strategy and decision-making processes.
Key responsibilities for this role include leading a cross-functional team encompassing Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, QA, Project Managers, and analysts. You will guide team members in achieving individual and collective goals while designing core datasets aligned with business requirements using tools such as Alteryx, Dataiku, and DBT. Additionally, you will ensure data integrity through validation processes, oversee dashboard creation using Tableau and other BI tools for actionable insights generation, automate reporting systems through data pipeline automation efforts, collaborate with various departments to integrate insights into operational workflows effectively.
We are looking for candidates with at least 8 years of professional experience in data analytics coupled with proven leadership skills managing analytics teams ideally within financial services or similar industries. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields is required (Advanced certifications are a plus). Proficiency in database management systems like AWS Redshift or MySQL along with expertise in ETL tools such as Alteryx is essential. Strong communication skills along with problem-solving abilities are key attributes we seek.
