We are currently seeking a talented Communications Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team at MSI. As the third largest independent MGA in the country, this role plays a crucial part in developing and executing internal communication strategies while also supporting external communications efforts when needed. The primary responsibilities include creating, editing, and distributing communications content across various channels, organizing internal events to enhance company culture, developing customer communications, and crafting content for external-facing platforms. The ideal candidate must excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously and be proactive in recommending new strategies to achieve communication goals effectively.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to create engaging content for internal channels such as intranet updates, town halls, and lunch-and-learns. Additionally, they will collaborate with departments to gather information for clear internal and external communications aligned with our brand voice. Strong organizational skills are essential for balancing multiple projects with varying timelines while ensuring project delivery on time. The role also involves measuring the effectiveness of communication strategies and making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement. Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
