We are currently seeking a Director of Engineering to join our team. Reporting to the Vice President and leading the Engineering department, this senior leadership role focuses on overseeing planning, design, and implementation of transmission and substation projects. The ideal candidate will manage a team of engineers and technical staff to ensure projects meet regulatory standards while supporting company objectives. Collaboration with internal departments, stakeholders, and external partners is crucial to drive innovation and operational excellence within our transmission and substation engineering activities.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 10 years' experience in the electric utility industry performing engineering duties or management for high voltage electrical projects. A Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university is required along with a P.E. license.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. Strong technical expertise in structural, civil, electrical or mechanical engineering is essential along with knowledge of electric utility construction standards. Excellent communication skills are necessary to engage effectively with internal teams as well as clients and external partners. The ability to travel up to 10-25% of the time may be required to fulfill job responsibilities.
