We are currently seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our Transmission and Substation team. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of transmission and substation projects. You will manage a team of engineers and technical staff to ensure projects meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards while supporting the company's strategic objectives. Collaboration with other departments and external partners will be essential to drive innovation, efficiency, and operational excellence in our engineering activities.
As the Director of Engineering at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of engineers and technical professionals while fostering a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation. Your responsibilities will include project management tasks such as developing budgets, schedules, resource plans, managing risks, resolving issues that may impact project scope or quality. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance in designing transmission and substation systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Ideal candidates for this position should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the electric utility industry with expertise in high voltage electrical projects. A Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) or Graduate degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university is required along with a P.E. license. Strong leadership skills, technical expertise in engineering disciplines related to utilities infrastructure construction standards are essential for success in this role.
