We are currently seeking a Software Engineer Team Lead - Platform Services to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring engineers while providing technical guidance and feedback. You will drive project ownership from requirements definition to delivery, engaging in hands-on coding and support activities along the way. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, with at least 7 years of server-side development experience in Java, Python, Ruby, C#, or similar languages.
Key Responsibilities include leading and mentoring engineers to foster innovation and growth within the team. You will provide technical guidance, feedback, and coaching while contributing to system and architecture design discussions. Additionally, you will drive project ownership from defining requirements to delivery. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience leading engineers with a focus on mentoring and development, as well as knowledge of distributed systems and architecture design principles.
Preferred qualifications include experience with PaaS and Identity Access Management (IAM), strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and expertise working within a Kubernetes platform.
