Currently experiencing rapid growth, we are expanding our production capabilities and seeking a dynamic Production Director to lead our production teams across various work centers.

As the Production Director at SHG Knoxville, you will oversee day-to-day production activities across multiple work centers such as Screen Printing, Embroidery, Direct to Film Printing, Heat Press, and Laser Engraving. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring smooth operations, timely fulfillment of orders, removing production bottlenecks by effectively allocating resources, maintaining a capacity model to manage production capabilities efficiently, analyzing trends to inform capex decisions alongside senior management. Additionally, you will lead and support work center leads and the production planner while handling hiring processes and fostering a collaborative work environment.

The ideal candidate for this role will have 7-10 years of experience in high-volume custom manufacturing environments with expertise in overseeing decoration of hard and soft goods being advantageous. Prior experience leading screen printing or embroidery production teams is highly preferred. Strong leadership skills are essential for managing staff effectively along with the ability to forecast future growth using data-driven insights. Excellent organizational skills coupled with problem-solving abilities are crucial for ensuring seamless production flow while complying with safety and quality standards.
