As a Senior Public Relations Specialist at Stealth Stanford Startup, your responsibilities will include developing and executing comprehensive PR campaigns aligned with company objectives, cultivating and nurturing relationships with media professionals, influencers, and key stakeholders, crafting engaging press releases, pitches, and thought leadership content, securing valuable media placements in top-tier publications, monitoring industry trends to guide PR strategies effectively, collaborating with marketing, content creation, and leadership teams to ensure brand consistency across all communications channels, managing crisis communications and reputation strategies when necessary tracking campaign performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness.
The ideal candidate should possess at least 5 years of public relations experience in tech, finance or consumer brands. They must have a proven track record of securing impactful media coverage, exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives. Additionally they should have established relationships with top-tier journalists and media outlets experience in crisis communications and reputation management ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment familiarity with PR tools like Cision Meltwater or Muck Rack.
