As the VP of Engineering at Stealth Stanford Startup, you will be responsible for setting the technical vision, leading and growing an exceptional engineering team, and ensuring the successful execution of our product roadmap. Collaborating with leadership from Product, Design, and Business departments is crucial as you drive innovation while maintaining scalability, security, and performance standards. Your role will involve building and scaling an elite engineering team, defining and executing technical strategies aligned with business goals, overseeing software architecture development processes, implementing best practices like DevOps and Agile methodologies.
The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 10 years of engineering experience with a minimum of 5 years in leadership positions. You must demonstrate expertise in cloud platforms, modern tech stacks, software architecture design principles along with experience working in high-growth startup environments. Proficiency in Agile methodologies, DevOps practices as well as exceptional leadership qualities including strong communication skills are essential.
