As the Hardware Engineering Director at Storm4, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design, prototyping, testing, and deployment of the company’s Adaptive BMS hardware platform. Your responsibilities will include defining the Battery Management System roadmap for grid storage and electric vehicles, overseeing system prototyping, developing test plans for validation purposes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, and supporting product deployment in the field. This hands-on leadership position requires technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a collaborative approach to team-building.

To excel in this role at Storm4, candidates must possess a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field along with 10+ years of relevant experience. Demonstrated technical excellence in DC-DC converter design, analog/digital circuit design, microprocessors, firmware/software-controlled product development, and familiarity with functional safety processes are essential qualifications. Preferred skills include knowledge of battery chemistry, high-power or high-voltage product development experience, and an understanding of electricity distribution systems.
