As the Director of Manufacturing Engineering at Storm4, you will be responsible for leading the engineering team to optimize manufacturing operations across various areas such as fabrication, welding, and quality improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and strategies that drive operational success. From managing projects from concept to production to overseeing equipment acquisition and plant expansion, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and cost-efficiency.
To excel in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field along with experience implementing Lean principles such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in software tools like Microsoft Project and AutoCAD, and excellent communication abilities are essential. A Master’s degree in Engineering or Business, 5+ years of experience in manufacturing (particularly HVAC), and LEAN/Six Sigma certification are preferred qualifications that would make you an ideal candidate for this position at Storm4.
