As the Director of Engineering, your daily responsibilities will include leading solar engineering activities, system performance modeling, and CAD design for construction projects. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise for development and RFP support projects, evaluate new solar opportunities, collaborate on contract negotiations with suppliers and customers, guide field teams on plant commissioning and optimization, and improve project planning tools within the engineering group. Mentoring and developing engineering talent to foster a culture of innovation and excellence will also be a key part of your role.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field, along with 10+ years of experience in the solar or renewable energy industry. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams, expertise in PV system design, performance analysis, and industry standards. Advanced proficiency in PVSyst, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel is required, along with strong communication skills for internal teams and external stakeholders. A willingness to travel domestically and internationally (5-15%) is also essential for this role.
