As the Director of Engineering, you will play a crucial role in leading our engineering team and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Your responsibilities will include coordinating interdisciplinary engineering activities for photovoltaic projects, overseeing facility architecture development, managing the engineering team's tasks, collaborating with third-party engineers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for cultivating client relationships, monitoring project financials, and providing engineering expertise to support organizational goals.
To qualify for this position, you should have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in solar design or electrical engineering. You should also have proven experience in managing engineering teams, expertise in Medium Voltage systems and PVSyst energy modeling, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills. Field engineering experience is preferred, and having a valid driver's license is mandatory.
