As the VP of Engineering, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction and strategy of the company. You will own all technical aspects of the product, from architecture to execution, and work closely with the leadership team to align our product roadmap with business goals. We need a visionary leader who can guide a team of engineers, scale the product, and ensure the security and integrity of the platform.
Key responsibilities include leading technical vision and strategy development, overseeing product scaling while maintaining focus on security and user experience, ensuring compliance with industry standards for data protection, building and scaling an engineering team, making high-level architectural decisions for platform scalability and performance, as well as occasionally interacting with investors to contribute technical expertise in shaping strategic direction.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a CTO or VP of Engineering with expertise in building secure products and implementing security protocols. Strong knowledge of security identity verification technologies is essential along with hands-on experience in React, React Native, Ruby on Rails tech stack. Demonstrated experience in scaling products and engineering teams in fast-paced environments is required.
