We are currently seeking a dynamic Director of Substation Engineering to lead our Substation department comprising physical and protection & control engineers, designers, and drafters. The ideal candidate will oversee department leads, manage client relationships, and drive department growth. Responsibilities include managing project budgets, schedules, and profitability; developing strategies for operational efficiency; delivering expert insights to senior leadership and clients; ensuring compliance with contract terms; staying abreast of industry trends; mentoring a high-performing team; driving talent acquisition and retention efforts; identifying business development opportunities; maintaining exceptional customer service; and representing the company at industry events.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in electrical, civil, mechanical, or structural engineering along with a minimum of 8 years' experience in substation engineering. A Professional Engineer (PE) License is required, as well as experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and a background in business development.
